PushOff Privacy Policy

Last updated: [DATE]

PushOff ("the App," "we," "us") is a fitness game that uses your device's camera to count push-ups. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Camera / Body Pose Data
The App uses your device's front camera and Apple's on-device Vision framework to detect your body position while you work out. This processing happens entirely on your device. Camera frames and body-pose data are not recorded, stored, or uploaded anywhere — they exist only in memory while the app is open and are discarded immediately after each frame is analyzed.

Account Information
If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive and store:

Gameplay & Progress Data
We store your in-app progress, including:

This data is stored locally on your device and, for signed-in users, synced to our backend (Google Firebase) so it can appear on leaderboards and persist across reinstalls.

Leaderboard & Chat Data
If you participate in leaderboards or chat, your display name, country, rank, and scores are visible to other users. Chat messages you send are visible to other signed-in users and are stored so the chat history can be displayed; messages cannot be edited or deleted once sent.

Subscription Information
Subscription purchases are processed by Apple (via StoreKit) and managed through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but not your payment details (card numbers, etc.), which Apple handles directly.

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.

4. Data Retention

Your account and gameplay data are retained as long as your account exists. If you delete your account in Settings, we permanently delete:

Chat messages you've sent to the shared chat room may persist after account deletion, as they form part of a shared, immutable conversation history with other users; they are no longer associated with an active account.

5. Your Choices

6. Children's Privacy

PushOff is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at the email below and we will delete it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard practices (Firebase Authentication, Firestore security rules) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
